Cloud Lake has been a well-loved region by SL explorers and photographers alike for a long time, and Diesel City Noir, Hera’s most recent creation, is definitely a testament to why! Residents might also know this place as Drune, and past iterations have been incredible builds, like Gotham, Blade Runner (which might still be my favorite), Whitechapel, Giger City, and Phaedra. Diesel City Noir is much like the Gotham build, with a twist – the dieselpunk, 1930’s-inspired build has a port, with a steamboat ready to transport you to Skull Island.
The city has some hidden gems and the island has a couple of fun surprises, making both areas a lot of fun to explore. This build has been up for a little while now, but you should have plenty of time to get over there and grab some photos, perhaps get a drink in one of the lounges or check into The Hotel Cortez (iykyk).
For anyone wondering, rez rights aren’t available, so keep that in mind if you’re going for photos (you can easily throw on an attachable pose stand or use your BD poser, of course!).
