Cinnamon & Chai has been out for a few weeks now, and we are starting to see the items roll out for compatibility.
One of the first up to the plate for the skins is Soul. They just released foot fades to make their whole line work on the Chai version of the body.
If you don’t know anything about the new body, it is developed by Siddean, who is the owner of Slink. There is a comprehensive website for the bodies, which you can find HERE.
Chai is the easier body to start playing with, as it is mostly SLUV based, with just the feet being a bit different that the standard SLUV based body. This is because both Cinnamon and Chai have a unique foot system that not only fixes some of the issues in the SLUV counterpart, but has foot animations. This will create some interesting opportunities for footwear creators going forward, as well as animation makers.
So with Chai, all you really need it a foot fix of sorts, to make your current BOM Ready skin wearable. Soul has released some for their whole skin line, in both the Human tones and the Fantasy tones.
As you can see below, a standard BOM skin thrown on will have some foot funkiness (Left Shot), then with your fader, you get a seamless match(Middle Shot), if the tone is correct of course, haha(Right Shot).
