I recently had the chance to take part in the newly redesigned Bixie Event the other day, by happenstance. The organizer is really nice.
I thought I’d help out a bit, and give the event some exposure. They are running with a spacey theme, so I sort of just went with it.
It might be a smaller event, but it has a more relaxed feel, and some brands I didn’t know about, with really interesting items. This is what you miss when you don’t take a chance on an event, or different designers. True little gems that are just out there in the cosmos waiting to be discovered.
I decided to pull out my Soul alien tendril thingies I got ages ago. These are unrigged mesh, and have a bunch of different markings. You can tint them to create fun looks. The Hud that comes with them already has matching skin options, for some of the skintones instore.
I thought I’d take a closer snap of my makeup, as you can’t see it well in the full shot. I love layering makeup in second life, you can make something plain really pop, and become more uniquely you.
